![]() ![]() But really need to look on the router for loss of internet to that device, red x points to connectivity on that interface only. So could see if any outage/issues going back years if need be. Now I don't currently my wireless router as the gateway, just an accesspoint - but on my pfsense router I get full logging and graphing of my internet connections quality For example on a router running dd-wrt you can see the uptime of the router right on the main status page Now depending the router rebooting/loosing internet you should be able to view its logs. If what your looking for is if their router is loosing internet then no that would not work, but if they are saying they are getting a red X - that means local is down, has nothing to do with internet access to the router, etc. From what you describe there that is their local connection being lost, ie router/switch they are plugged into offline (reboot, power loss, etc) So the time inferniac points to would tell you if it happened since the machine has been on, you could compare it to the machines uptime, etc.
